Let's get the discussion started, what does CMU need to do to win this weekend?

Everyone knows they have played the big dogs with good strength, and the defense has shown they will compete against anyone.

One of the keys to this game is the CMU rushing attack. You HAVE to get something going. The fact that Cooper Rush has been this effective without a good run game is astounding. He can be much more efficient if the defense has to focus on the run even if it's just for a few plays a game.

And of course, that stems from offensive line play. They haven't necessarily been horrible, but they certainly haven't been good. Open some lanes, give Cooper time to throw, and I think you will see this offense start to come to life the way coach Bonamego would like it.

Speaking of Bonamego... Kind of hard not to be pleased with what he has done so far. His scheme is very balanced and his ability to coach a full four quarters is already ten-fold what former coach Dan Enos could pull off. Chippewa fans should be excited about the direction of the program under his watch right now.

A win on Saturday in front of the homecoming crowd is crucial.
