UGLY game, but a road win is a road win none the less.
It looked like we were on the verge of going up 3 scores early, then the fumble changed the flow of the whole game. You can't let one play put you in such a funk, but we adjusted defensively and won the 2nd half.
Kudos to the Defensive Coordinator for figuring out what they were doing, and completely shutting them down to seal the win. Twice.
Giving up the kick off return at that point in the game was unacceptable.
Very lucky it didn't cost us the game.
We continually have trouble at the OT position, but that's going to be the reality from here on out.
With Akron next week, we have a shot at a 3 game win streak, and a chance to improve to 4-1 in conference.
Speaking of streaks. Todays win ends a 5 game losing streak to Ball St. dating back to the Enos era...no additional commentary needed.
