In case you did not see this news, Jake Johnson announced his career is over due to concussion.
It's really sad, but also a really smart move on his part. Jake was set to be a redshirt freshman and almost certainly be the backup, or even possibly starting quarterback for this team at some point. He was athletic and had very good short accuracy with his throws.
His career comes to a close with minimal playing time. His presence will be missed.
