CMU offered and received a commitment in the same day from OT Brandon Keen from Waterford (Mich.) Our Lady of the Lakes.
6-foot-6 and 290 pounds, he's a good athlete that has been working out at BFit Detroit, which is also where Tyler Conklin has been working out since he left Northwood.
Keen was Detroit News All-State and All-Oakland County as well.
Big and mobile and 6-foot-6 and close to 300 pounds, Keen would start
just about every Division 1 or 2 program in the area. But at Division 8
WOLL, he simply overmatched everyone in his path despite learning a new
position, left tackle. A bona fide Division I college prospect with
signing day roughly two months away.
"It's rare to have an offensive lineman that becomes a focal point of
your game plan," WOLL head coach Josh Sawicki said. "We ran everything
behind him. He came in at a new position and got better, better and
better."
