I checked in at practice today and got a chance to see the full team in motion.

Coach Bonamego runs a tight ship, and the team looked to be very disciplined in every drill and rotation they made.

It's very clear that the OL and DL are going to take this team wherever it goes. They are big, physical, and simply take care of business. They will certainly be the strength of the team.

I watched the RBs A LOT today, considering that is one of the biggest question marks. There was a big scare midway through practice when Spalding went down, but he is going to be fine. Sounds like a slight hyper extension of the knee but nothing more. Going to miss a few days but will be just fine for season opener. Martez Walker showed a lot of flash, and really hits the hole hard. He can surprise some people this year.

As for the rest, it was business as usual. Rush looked fine throwing the ball and the QBs really focused on quick releases today.

Expect to see a good mix of pass and run this year in a well balanced offense. Today was a welcomed sight, this team should compete in the conference if they play to their ability.

I will have a full article from more practice action next week.
