Obviously this job opened up this week, and Mac's name is being mentioned.
Bruce Feldman reported this week Mac is a candidate, but Evan reported yesterday Mac is not being highly considered at this point.
This morning I read WSU has reached out to get a feel of how interested he would be in interviewing.
Moral of this? This is a fluid situation and it won't conclude until WSU makes a hire.
This is the Power 5 job I'd imagine he'd jump at. He's from that area (NW Montana), has strong connections in the region, it's a significant jump in pay and resources, and at a place that isn't a pressure cooker.
