Tomorrow CMU is hosting junior day, and the team is expected to host many kids. Maybe as many as 50.

Here are some confirmed visitors according to 'The D Zone' ... I am hoping to get exact numbers and will update this thread if the team gets any commits tomorrow.

Big day for the program no doubt.

De La Salle 2017 CB/RB Allen Stritzinger is the most well known name in the group, as he visits Mount Pleasant after the Chippewa's provided him with an offer last May. Stritzinger holds a Michigan offer and at this point is favoring the Wolverines. Stritzinger will tag along with rising stars at De La Salle that include Juniors: 2017 DB/RB Kevin Lee, 2017 WR Jack Skrzycki, and 2017 QB Ricardo Marble Jr.

Berrien Springs 2017 RG/DE Phillip Paea blew up this week as Michigan State, Oregon, and Michigan all offered within 24 hours. Paea who held a BYU offer ahead of time, discussed his recruiting with The D Zone as this article was being written. That interview will be published later. 2017 LB Steven Spenner will be coming along with Paea and is definitely a LB with potential.

Greenville 2017 LB Evan Plate enters Saturday night as the lone commit in the Class. Plate will look to recruit alongside the coaches in piecing up the Class of 2017.

Ann Arbor Skyline 2017 LB/RB TreShaun Hayward is a ferocious LB with 5 offers, would be crazy if the Chippewa's didn't make him walk way with a 6th offer as the way CMU has been recruiting despite an Illinois offer from Big 10, if Hayward is visiting Mt. Pleasant, he is obviously interested in being recruited by Central Michigan.

Southfield 2017 CB "ATH" Marquise Thorns is a spark plug once he gets on the field and backs down from no one. His first offer has to be within reach and we wouldn't be shocked to see it come from Central Michigan.

Saint Johns 2017 LB Tanner Motz has 4 offers, but the local product just several miles south on 127 has yet to receive a Central Michigan offer. Fully expect that to be a different story soon as Motz is one of the most college ready players in the midwest and we can attest to that, after seeing him compete in camps over the previous summer and another impressive varsity season.

Southfield 2019 QB Sam Johnson made headlines by being the first player from Michigan to receive an offer before setting foot in a high school, but Johnson flourished under center on Varsity last year. Central Michigan will likely become his 8th offer.

Chelsea 2017 CB/RB Cam Cooper is the type of physical CB's colleges dream of having on their team. He awaits his first offer, which can't wait much longer.

Lapeer 2017 WR/S Drew Rubick has been nothing short of impressive in his previous 2 seasons of Varsity at Lapeer. Colleges will really need to do their homework with Rubick because he is not a camp kid, but rather a true football player.

Dearborn 2017 OL Mustafa Khaleefah is at 2 MAC offers now and is fresh off a surprise mid week visit to Michigan State. Central Michigan would be offer #3 if they decide to offer.

Farmington Hills Harrison 2018 WR/DE Ovie Oghoufo reaped the benefits of being at the same high school as Notre Dame signee Khalid Kareem who received 39 offers last year. Oghoufo, the cousin of Mario and Mike Ojemudia, is extremely athletic and is now up to 3 offers, CMU we expect will be planning to make it 4.

Northville 2017 LB Trenton Guthrie didn't have much problems adapting to Northville after transferring from Myrtle Beach, SC after his Freshman year. Colleges love players who adapt to their surroundings, Central Michigan is his lone offer and this must be a commit watch, if there's to be one on Saturday.

Traverse City Central 2017 OT/DE Ben Sherwin was offered by Buffalo in July 2014 and we haven't heard from him since now. Fortunately that's not a problem as Tanner Motz listed above faced a similar situation. Sherwin is poised for a big next few months as he aims for his 2nd offer.

Northville 2018 WR A.J Abbott has the potential to be one of the biggest playmakers / "x-factors" in the entire Class of 2018. He'll have a solid 3 years of Varsity in him by the time he graduates and is patiently awaiting his first of many offers.
