Mentioned earlier this week that CMU was looking at DE Jeremiah Harris from Temperance Bedford, and now it's official: He's a Chippewa.
I posted this on him:
A DE on the radar is Jeremiah Harris from
Temperance (Mich.) Bedford HS. Was named to the Detroit Free Press Dream
Team. 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds, and when you watch his film one thing
stands out: MOTOR. Kid is just relentless. And if you never read it,
Temperance Bedford had a crazy season culminated with the death of one
of their teammates from a car accident in Week 9. They rallied and
responded, great sports story of a team coming together through
adversity.
Harris SR Season: 113.5 tackles, 14 TFL, 8.5 sacks, 2 FF and 1 INT he returned for a TD.
This is a kid who you don't have to teach one of the most important things, and that's a motor that is always running. One of those players that will make your program better even if he never see's the field. Harris is also a hell of a basketball player as well as baseball and shot put/discus.
More on him soon.
