Some of you may have seen over the week that Bonamego was quoted saying he would rather go through 8 more weeks of chemotherapy and radiation than lose to Western the way they did.
He has since apologized for those remarks, and acknowledges it was an in-the-moment scenario in which he went overboard. He has even had a phone conversation with a Western fan's wide who has battled breast cancer.
Clearly he was very emotional and it was a very frustrating night as we all know, and Bonamego showed how much passion he has for the program, but knows he was wrong in saying that. He would never mean to offend anyone.
