Tyler Conklin boosted his draft stock today, catching a pair of passes for 20 yards and scoring a beautiful 16 yard touchdown.
In the opening drive of the second half Wyoming QB Josh Allen found Conklin in the back of the end zone for a sprawling catch, showing off Conklin's hands and athletic ability.
Conklin started the play lined up as an offset fullback and ran a small wheel route to the back where Allen delivered a perfect pass. He showed great blocking ability on the day, and definitely saw his NFL stock rise. I would consider him a mid-round pick right now, and would be surprised if he slipped out of the 5th round.
