Well, for one reason or another, I haven't had the chance to watch much of the men's B-Ball action as of yet this year, so on Saturday I made sure I got my chores done in the morning so I could dial them up in the afternoon.

Although Ball St. is towards the bottom of the standings, they pretty much beat us in all phases of the game.
Considering how much I was looking forward to watching, I came away disappointed in the effort.

We just couldn't match their energy for the entire game. When we were able to grab the lead early in the 2nd half, Ball St. kicked it up a notch and we just didn't match it. This team is young, and games like Saturday will be part of the growing process.
I'm sure Keno will use this as a learning opportunity, but it will be interesting to see how they respond from here.

Despite the effort in the loss, you can see the increased quality of the roster compared to what we've been playing with in years past, so I'm pretty excited about the immediate future.
