CMU basketball media day was underway today.
Head coach Keno Davis said that he has thought about using the same starting five from last year, but that it's an open competition.
We should expect to see a lot more of Luke Meyer this year as he progresses through his sophomore season. Davis said he could see more time playing power forward this year to help him have a chance at the next level.
In regards to the schedule, Davis said nobody wanted to play CMU. He said the schedule is underrated and that many of the teams are projected to finish near the top of their respective conferences.
ESPN came out with a list of the top 100 players in the country, and Chris Fowler was not on that list. He is one of just 6 players returning this year to average 16+ points and 6+ assists per game.
