Good to see that CMU is in play for Billy Bahl, 6'4" qb. Would like to see him take over after Rush moves on. Also, it's being reported that Shurmur has committed to Vandy. He's no longer a possibility, although I doubt his dad would have let him play at CMU with all the "big time" offers on his plate. Some guys just can't see that quantity playing time is better than quantity practice time and no game action. Yes, someone will have to start at Vandy, but if you're not the guy, you just blew your future in the NFL.
From reading the piece on Bahl, he seems to get it. He's not so much interested in playing for a "big" program as getting playing time. Certainly having Enos, Guidugli and the OC on staff, all having played/coached qb, Bahl can rest assured that he will be getting solid instruction at every practice. Hope Bahl comes back for another visit and decides to stay. Sound like he is a great young man with a smart head on his shoulders.
