Sorry everyone, first time near a computer in about 72 hours.

But have plenty of updates to give!

Today CMU hosted its first camp of the year on campus and had a great turnout, although most of the day was spent at the indoor complex due to bad weather.

This past Thursday and Friday multiple CMU recruits worked out at the Sound Mind Sound Body camp at Dakota High School in Macomb, MI. Athletes from all around the country attended with nearly 1,600 football players working out in front of almost every midwest college football program in the country.

Athletes had the opportunity to listen to many of them speak, including the camp ending with a speech from Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh.

On Saturday Team Michigan took on Team Ohio in the second annual Border Classic for high school seniors and Team Michigan featured 10 CMU Chippewas that will be sporting the flying C this fall. Quarterback commit Brandon Childress was named Offensive Player of the Game, and he, alongside many of his fellow CMU commits helped lead Team Michigan to a 24-7 victory over Ohio.

There will be many more updates from this past weekend coming throughout the week including photos from the Border Classic.
