Last Friday night was the final week of the regular season for CMU's commits, and many of them will be moving on to the first round of playoffs this weekend.

Here is a rundown of how CMU commits did last week:

Mt. Pleasant RB/LB Hunter Buczkowski - Mt. Pleasant 48 - Heritage 13
The Oilers won their 7th game of the season in dominating fashion last Friday night. They scored 28 points in the first quarter alone, and led 41-0 at halftime. Buczkowski did not have to do much with his team opening such a big lead. He had just one carry for five yards and a touchdown and just three tackles on defense in limited action. Mt. Pleasant hosts Gaylord Friday night in the playoff opener.

Clintondale DE Joshuwa Eldridge - Clintondale 2 - Mt. Clemens 0
Clintondale did not have to play a game Friday night as they won by a forfeit. The win gave them five wins on the season, and they were one of the 40 teams with a 5-4 record selected for the playoffs. The Dragons will travel to Algonac this Friday night for their playoff opener.

Utica RB Kumehnnu Gwilly
- Utica 7 - Sterling Heights Stevenson 31
Needing a win to have a shot at the playoffs, Utica was unsuccessful as they fell to the Titans last Friday night, finishing with a 4-5 record. Gwilly did not make an impact in his final game as a Chieftan before moving on to CMU.

Mumford WR Tee'Ondre Harvey - Mumford 32 - Osborn 0
Mumford earned a big win in its season finale last week shutting out Osborn 32-0. Unfortunately the win gave them just four on the year, falling one win shy of a potential playoff spot. Stats from the game were unavailable.

Highlands (Kentucky) QB Austin Hergott - Highlands 56 - Grant County 22
The Bluebirds kept their 31-game conference win streak alive last Friday night to improve to 4-5 overall and 3-0 in conference play. The win gave Highlands its third in a row, and they are now in the driver's seat for a conference title. They play a 12-game schedule in Kentucky 5A football, and this Friday Highlands faces Boone County in a non-conference game. Hergott completed 6-of-10 passes for 82 yards and a touchdown in last week's win.

Farmington DB Jakkar Jackson - Farmington 14 - Lake Orion 17
Needing a win to clinc a playoff spot, the Falcons were unable to come through with a tough loss dropping them to 5-4 on the year. However, strength of schedule has gotten them selected as one of the teams with a 5-4 record to advance to the playoffs. They travel to Franklin this Friday night for the playoff opener. Jackson finished the year with 60 total tackles, the third highest mark on his team. He also had one receiving touchdown on offense.

Detroit King DE Leon Page - King 27 - Cass Tech 25
The Detroit Public School League championship featured a rematch from two of the state's best teams, and King once again came out on top to finish off a 9-0 season. Five of King's players were suspended from the game, two of which were starters on the defense. Page helped lead the defense to a PSL championship. King will face U of D Jesuit on Saturday afternoon in the first round of the Division 2 playoffs.

Bishop McNamara (Illinois) RB Jonathan Ward
- Bishop McNamara 43 - De La Salle 35
Ward and his team finished the regular season on a roll, ending with an 8-1 overall record. Ward had another monster game in his last regular season game with the Fighting Irish, rushing the ball 26 times for 196 yards and three touchdowns. Ward and his team will face Mercer County Saturday afternoon in the first round of the playoffs.

2017 Greenville LB Evan Plate - Greenville 34 - Wyoming 44
The Yellowjackets fell to 2-7 overall on the season as their comeback was cut short last Friday night. Individual stats for Plate were unavailable.
