Here's an excerpt from a Josh Helmholdt article. Interesting thoughts........
"
Dan Enos's recruiting efforts, though, and now the Chippewas are doing this spring what Western Michigan did last spring to springboard their historic class.
Central Michigan has landed six class of 2015 commitments over the last month and at least three of them are guys I expect to draw Big Five offers in the future. Three-star Shahid Bellamy is the headliner thus far. An athletic defensive tackle with a great motor, Bellamy will wreak havoc in the MAC if the Chippewas can hold onto him until National Signing Day.
Western Michigan did suffer de-commitments in their 2014 class, but they were able to hold onto a really impressive percentage of their commits, even when bigger name programs came calling. If Central Michigan can maintain their momentum throughout the spring and summer and keep adding to their commitment list, their chore to match Western Michigan's 2014 effort will be to hold onto a majority of their top guys when Big Ten and Big 12 schools come calling."
