We have learned that OL Hunter Lassiter has decommitted from CMU and will be heading to Ferris State to play TE. He also had a few teammates that will be going to Ferris as well.
Steve was able to catch him a little via text, and this is what he had to say:
"CMU and I mutually decided to split ways and they wanted to go in a different direction. It happened last month and I will be playing TE at Ferris."
We are also hearing some that DE Jeremiah Harris may be looking elsewhere and has reopened his recruitment.

It sounds like Lassiter was a decision both made, and CMU decided to look elsewhere. With CMU pretty deep at OL and them getting a commitment from Joe Komel, that scholarship might open up a spot for Spalding. By my count CMU has two spots left, with Spalding and WR JonVea Johnson as the targets.
